Advanced Qurʾānic Recitation and Qirāʾāt

The Ijāzah program is a journey from advanced Tajwīd to scholarly transmission (sanad). Each group is limited to 5 students to allow for one-on-one recitation with the instructor.

Ijāzah Group 2
5 Students Only, No Teacher Assistant		Monday, Wednesday and Friday (3 days per week)
7:30 to 8:30 PM		Aug 26, 2026 to May 28, 2027$120/monthStudents should have an excellent level of Tajwīd and should either pass the Level 3 Tajwīd assessment or have already completed Level 3 Tajwīd. Students wishing to study a Qirāʾah other than ʿĀṣim must first obtain an Ijāzah in the Qirāʾah of ʿĀṣim.

The Ijāzah journey moves from an assessment of Tajwīd readiness, through the theoretical rules of the Qirāʾah, to one-on-one recitation from Sūrat al-Fātiḥah through Sūrat al-Nās.

Instructor: Moaz Abied. Each program runs 8 months (2026 to 2027) with a break during Ramadan 1449 (AH).
